Injury sucks. Whether you’re a runner or cyclist, being sidelined can feel like losing a part of who you are. At Redefine PT & Performance in Roanoke, Virginia, my mission is to help you return to the road, trail, or track—not just pain-free, but stronger, smarter, and more resilient than ever.
This isn’t your typical physical therapy. Forget cookie-cutter stretches, new shoes, or being told to “just rest.” We dig deeper:
• Your Training History: What’s worked? What hasn’t?
• Your Strength & Mobility: Where are the weak links?
• Your Movement Mechanics: How do you move, and where can we improve?
• Your Lifestyle: How does your daily routine support—or sabotage—your recovery?
Together, we build a personalized rehab and training strategy that leads to real results. If running or cycling is part of your identity, don’t let injuries define your limits—let’s redefine them.
• Initial Evaluation: $175
A 90-minute deep dive into your injury, movement, and goals. Includes a gait analysis and onboarding to TrainingPeaks.
• Follow Ups: $80
Continued support, plan progression, and coaching to help you stay on track and keep making gains.

After working with many physical therapists over the years, I finally came across Jimmy and Redefine Running. Immediately, it was obvious that this was what I had been looking for.
After helping me with a few injuries, Jimmy worked with me to increase my training volume. I was able to hit running milestones that I thought were impossible. Having a physical therapist and coach that understands endurance training and injury prevention is an invaluable skill set!

Do you work with runners coming back from bone stress injuries? Yes. I specialize in helping runners recover from stress fractures and tendinopathies through a gradual, structured return-to-run progression.
Can I get a gait analysis if I’m not injured? Absolutely. Many runners use gait analysis to optimize efficiency and reduce injury risk.
Do you offer in-person physical therapy in Roanoke? Yes. In-person sessions are available locally. I also work with athletes virtually across the U.S.
